Why yes it was. The Older Vicosity was getting lonely and needed a friend to help beat up your taste buds. Our good friends at Dark Horse have outdone themselves again. Come get some cause this beer is a palate punisher like none other, you will not be disapointed.

Ohh no you didn’t, OHH yes I just did. Mikkeller Beer Geek Brunch is gone (damn) but Port Older Viscosity is takin its place. I think thats a fair trade. Come to me my nerds! This madness won’t be around long…

Thanks to everyone who came out last Tuesday, it was a lot of fun. Just so you all know the Mikkeller yeast series kegs are getting very, very low and the hefeweizen is already gone! We also just tapped theThornbridge Jaipur IPA, which has been winning all sorts of awards including most recently at the gold medal at the Great British Beer Festival. Come try this amazing English beer.

Attention! We will be tapping the Mikkeller Yeast Series Tuesday, July 27th at 7:00 PM. If you know what is best for you we will see you here as we are are the only bar in Chicago pouring these extremely rare beers.

Mikkeller Yeast Series: American Style Ale
Mikkeller Yeast Series: Belgian Ale

West Lakeview Liqours will be joining us with sausage and cheese plates as they are the only retailer with bottles of this series in Chicago. Come by and try it on draft then make your way over to West Lakeview Liqours and buy a couple of bottles to share with friends.
